Hello there, I'm Molly!

Wife to Michael and mama to Beckett and Ellia!  Welcome to Absolutely Alpert!

Me & the Mr:

Michael and I met in 2008 when his family and the family I nannied for went on a trip to Mexico.  I was taken along to help take care of the kids.  We hit it off the second he told me I had blueberries smeared across my ass after the flight into Cancun... A few tequila shots later and a game of, "poke the crab in the eye without getting pinched," I knew I was in trouble.  We've been together ever since.

July 24, 2011 Michael proposed to me in front of our family and friends at our annual Summer BBQ.  I of course said yes and we began planning for an April wedding.  Little did we know, life was about to throw us a curve ball..

That September we found out we were expecting, moved up our wedding to October 23rd and we begun planning for our baby boy!  

The babes: 

Beckett was born on May 16, 2012 (on his due date, I might add.  I'm all about timeliness and this was no exception) making us first time parents!  We knew we wanted Beckett to have a sibling(s) &  that's where Ellia comes in.  Ellia was born November 17, 2013, landing B & E 1 day short of 18 months apart!  (again with the timeliness ;)

And now here we are.  One happy and delightfully dysfunctional family!  

A few things about me:

I love coffee.  Iced, hot, frapped.  I don't care.  I love it all.

Sandwiches are my favorite food.  I could eat a sandwich every meal of every day and never get bored.  Roast beef, turkey, chicken, veggie, lettuce wrapped... and now my mouth is watering.

Oh, WINE.  If you like wine too, we'll get along just fine.
